Doctrine of the Angelic Conflict, part 57 – The essence of God – Truth.

Title: Doctrine of the Angelic Conflict, part 57 – The essence of God – Truth.

I asked you to start reading your Bible, not because you can garnish everything from it alone, but because I think it has been neglected. How many of you have read the book of Acts?

I still encourage you to read the books that comment on the Bible. But in one lifetime at 5 hours a week, I’m not going to get to it all. Please read Acts. That’s your homework.

We’re going to continue on the transition from sin to fellowship for a little bit more. This fits well under our topic of truth; and in light of what God has challenged us with.

So next I want to look at fellowship.

Words are funny. I have heard people tell me that they don’t like the word confession. More often than not they were brought up Catholic. I share their dislike of that word.

[judging experience today]

[get baptized just in case – not unlike rebound just in case]

I think I see why this whole thing has been brought up. I truly believe it is from God that it is brought up now, and I also believe that satan has been planting and preparing for it.

1Co 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

1Co 10:16 Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ?

1Co 10:17 Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread.

1Co 10:18 Look at the nation Israel; are not those who eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar?

1Co 10:19 What do I mean then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

1Co 10:20 No, but I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons.

1Co 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

1Co 10:22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we?

2Co 6:14  Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

2Co 6:15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

2Co 6:16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,

"I will dwell in them and walk among them;

And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

2Co 6:17 "Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate," says the Lord.

"And do not touch what is unclean;

And I will welcome you.

2Co 6:18 "And I will be a father to you,

And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,"

Says the Lord Almighty.

2Co 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Phi 2:1 If therefore there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion
